A master notebook allows you to have all the information you need right at your fingertips. You are able to refer to it when you make up various lists you must have when you go shopping. You can keep track of the items you have bought & the things you still need. You can have flyers listing school supplies needed so you can pick them up throughout the summer.
A master notebook also enables you to have a calendar of appointments & other important events so you don’t forget anything as the days & weeks go by. When do the kids go to camp? When is VBS? When should I schedule doctor appointments? So many things must be done over a very few weeks. You don’t want to be rushing around at the last minute, trying to get into the doctor for the physical so your kids can play sports or show an updated shot record. Now is the time to schedule all those things. Get everything on your calendar pages & then put them in this notebook. Everything that has to do with back to school should go in the notebook.
I like getting a large notebook with a clear pocket front & back & small pockets on the inner covers. I place official paperwork in small mailing envelops & put them in the notebook. Ads can go in the notebook. Do you begin to see a pattern?
